BINS (NAIROBI) SERVICES LTD the leading private firm in the Solid Waste Management sector in Nairobi is one of these and is making a bid to address the problem before it is too late. The firm is the first private concern in the sector having begun its operations in 1989, its genesis being traced to the dream of a group of entrepreneurs who saw a business opportunity as the services rendered by the Nairobi City Council were seen by residents to be inadequate.
